Hello, I'd like to talk to you about childhood leukemia. This summer my 12 year old cousin, Kennedy, died from Childhood Leukemia. Childhood leukemia affects thousands of children and their families every year. As a child undergoes treatment, they may be forced to travel hours away from their home, family and friends to stay at a hospital. This can be very hard on the child and their family. I work to raise money to help support these families through organizations that provide wigs, gift baskets, phone cards, and other needed services to the many people this disease affects.
